« Bush nominee Alito a wingnut | Main | Jonathan Turley on Strip Search Sammy »

Strip Search Sammy

Today we meet President Bush's new nominee – Strip Search Sammy. I think this from Think Progress bears repeating:

ALITO SUPPORTS UNAUTHORIZED STRIP SEARCHES: In Doe v. Groody, Alito agued that police officers had not violated constitutional rights when they strip searched a mother and her ten-year-old daughter while carrying out a search warrant that authorized only the search of a man and his home. [Doe v. Groody, 2004]
Scalito works well enough, but Strip Search Sammy just sounds, to me, like the kind of name that sticks to a guy.

Strip Search Sammy. Lather, rinse, repeat.
