Worries remain about levees

Mission accomplished, Mr. President:

Despite aggressive efforts to repair the New Orleans levee system following the destruction of Hurricane Katrina, it isn't clear yet whether it could withstand a sizable hurricane this year, the head of the Army Corps of Engineers conceded Saturday.

Engineers state they are in bad condition. Bush Administration says they are in good condition.

Now, who are we to believe? I'd go with the engineers, unfortunately.

And yet, there was Ray Nagin on 60 Minutes Sunday evening, knocking on a repaired levee wall and saying, "Where is this gonna go?"

In through the living room window of somebody's house, I'd imagine.
